From Pittsburgh and Points
South:
FROM INTERSTATE 79:
Take I 79 North to Evans City Exit. Off exit make a left. Go to
the "T", this is Rt. 19. Make a right going north toward Zelienople.
Go through town. At second red light make a left onto Rt. 288
(Kaufman House is on your left). Take Rt. 288 into Ellwood City (10
miles). As you approach Ellwood City, Franklin Plaza (Giant Eagle)
will be on your right. You will be going through 4 traffic lights.
Between the 2nd and 3rd light get into the left lane for through
traffic.
TO HOLY REDEEMERCHURCH: After the 4th light you will go 1 more
block to Park Ave. Make a left. the church is at the end of the
street on your right (corner of Park Ave. and 4th St.).
TO PARISH ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE: After the 4th light you will
go 2 more blocks to Crescent Ave. Make a left. Continue for 1 block,
Holy Redeemer Convent is on your right. Turn right at the Convent
onto 3rd St. Parking is available in the back. Entrance to the
Office is in the rear of the Convent.
FROM RT. 60:
Take Rt. 60 North. After you pass the Chippewa Exit you will pay
a toll of 50 cents. Continue to the PA Turnpike/Koppel/Ellwood City
exit. As you exit stay to your left toward stop sign. Go straight
through first stop sign. Make a left at the 2nd stop sign. At the
next stop sign make a right onto Rt. 351. This takes you into Koppel
and on into Ellwood City. You will go straight through 1st traffic
light going over Rt. 18. Follow over railroad tracks and then bear
left continuing on Rt. 351. Go over bridge to the "T". At the "T"
make a left (you do not need to stop). This will take you to Ellwood
City.
TO HOLY REDEEMER CHURCH: Go all the way through town. At the stop sign
of Lawrence Ave. and 4th St. you will make a right. Continue through
the traffic light, going 1 more block. The church will be on your
left.
TO THE PARISH ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE: Go all the way through
town. At the stop sign of Lawrence Ave. and 4th St. continue
straight. Holy Redeemer School will be on your right. Continue
around the sharp bend onto 3rd St. Make a right into the parking
area of the school. Office parking is immediately to your left.
Entrance to the Office is at the rear of the Holy Redeemer Convent.
From the North - Rt. 65:
TO HOLY REDEEMER CHURCH: From New Castle take Rt. 65 South into Ellwood
City. At the 1st traffic light in Ellwood, make a left onto Pershing
St. At the 1st stop sign (5 corners) you will make a semi-right onto
Sims St. Go over narrow bridge. Make a right at the traffic light
onto Fountain Ave. At next traffic light make a left onto 2nd St.
Continue for 4 blocks. At the 4th block make a right onto Park Ave.
Go to end. The church is on your right.
TO PARISH ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE: From New Castle take Rt. 65
South into Ellwood City. At the 1st traffic light in Ellwood, make a
left onto Pershing St. At the 1st stop sign (5 corners) you will
make a semi-right onto Sims St. Go over narrow bridge. Make a right
at the traffic light onto Fountain Ave. At the next traffic light
make a left onto 2nd st. Continue for 3 blocks. At the 3rd block
make a right onto Crescent Ave. Go one block. Holy Redeemer Convent
is on your right. Make a right here onto 3rd St. Office parking is
available behind the Convent. The Office entrance is at the rear of
the Convent. |
