Statement of Purpose |

In a pursuance of our
parish mission, we hereby recognize and affirm our incorporation in
the Mystical Body of Christ and do pray and unite ourselves as the
Pastoral Council, whereby through mutual trust and confidence, works
and assistance, the Mission of our Redeemer in our Parish will be
more effectively promoted and performed.
We recognize, affirm and accept communion with the Vicar of Christ,
our Holy Father, the Bishop of our Diocese and his chosen
representative in our Parish, our Pastor.
We intend that this Pastoral Council shall at all times reflect the
apostolic mandate of Christ and the will of the Church as expressed
in our mission statement and the long rage goals of our Parish.
Established the fifth day of February, in the year of our Lord 2001,
the first anniversary of Holy Redeemer Roman Catholic Parish,
Ellwood City, Pennsylvania.
Parish Life Committees: To implement the purposes of the Pastoral
Council, eight (8) Parish Life Committees are established:
• Finance
• Buildings and Grounds
• Educational Efforts
• Outreach
• Liturgical and Spiritual Life
• Social Organizations and Activities
• Fund Raising
• Short and Long Range Planning |
