In the spirit of ongoing evangelization, the mission of the Ministry of Catholic Faith Formation and Religious Education in Holy Redeemer Parish is to promote the knowledge of the faith in the living Christ; to encourage the people of God to celebrate that Faith as a Eucharistic community; to support them to live that faith by fulfilling the moral and missionary demands of the Gospel.
 

Faith Formation Programs are offered in Kindergarten through 8th grade from September through April. Please contact the Religious Education Center for details and registration information.  To register a child in the Faith Formation Program, proof of baptism is needed.
 

To recognize and honor Sister Mary Zucca's more than 55 years of service and dedication to the ministry of Catholic education, the Sister Mary Zucca Education Foundation was established with an Inaugural Dinner on September 23, 2000 with this mission:

Mission Statement

"Evangelization through education is a primary mission of the Church. This Foundation honors the life of a witness to that mission. . .Sr. Mary Zucca. Support ensures the perpetuation of Sr. Mary's dedication to the ministry of education for Holy Redeemer Parish."

Now dedicated to honoring her mission and her memory by continuing her good works, the Foundation has been blessed with the generosity of more than 600 individuals and organizational donations over the past three years. Since the Foundation's principal mission is to support the educational ministries of Holy Redeemer Parish, it has distributed gifts to the following ministries:

Holy Redeemer School

Confraternity of Christian Doctrine (CCD)

Catholic Youth Ministry (CYM)

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults Adapted for Children

Adult Education
